Bonnie Roskes
Author and Trainer, 3DVinci

My name is Bonnie Roskes, and I am the creator and owner of 3DVinci. I'm a professional structural engineer by background, but my real interest lies in showing people how to use great 3D modeling applications. I currently blog at with my friend Daniel Tal. We post several times a week on all things SketchUp: tips, tricks, extensions, interviews, tutorials. I started writing tutorials for SketchUp back in 2001, when hardly anyone had even heard of SketchUp. I've continued producing the "SketchUp Hands-On" series books for design professionals, geared toward industries including architecture, interior design, mechanical design, residential design, and 3D hobbyists. These books are updated for each new version of SketchUp. I also started writing for the K-12 market in 2006, producing ModelMetricks project books for the age 7-13 range, and GeomeTricks geometry project books for the age 10 and up range. And I currently have two "SketchUp Specialty Series" books, with more planned for the future. One is on SketchUp for 3D printing, the other on SketchUp for interior design.
