I am a CADD teacher at LGC, a senior secondary college in the ACT, Australia. We teach students in Years 11 and 12, which makes the students between 16 and 18 years old.

These images are all from my CADD students this semester in 2004. They have all extended themselves in SketchUp and positively enjoyed using the program. Some students have designed all furniture and features right down to the pictures on the wall.

These are all about a solar passive cabin project on a site near us on Lake Ginninderra. There were strict criteria: only 150 sq m maximum, client was the lead singer of ACDC (Australian rock band), one bedroom and a recording studio.

There is one exception to this, the Cliffhouse below is an imaginary extension project made up by Keenan Small. His family have just built a house at the coast (Batemans Bay, south coast of NSW), and no doubt he was inspired by the potential of the area.
