Scout Construction Projects

I am a troop scouter in South Africa, as well as a student of architecture and an avid user of SketchUp.

I have recently begun using SketchUp for visualising scout construction projects- it allows me to explain an idea very quickly, and I can generally build an SU model and take some prints of it much faster than I can build a physical model- the traditional way of explaining projects. I've also started a blog where I am using SU to illustrate my ideas- I am still trying to find a nice,clean,simple style for that site's images but SU makes running a blog very simple- I am able to knock out most models in 5 minutes or less for the site.

So thanks again for a great piece of software, and for another place where it can be used.
