This is the layout for the Flowserve Reactor Pump Decon station. Everyone around here was amazed at how I could rotate the plan around so freely and move our equipment with ease! Even the president and V.P. were impressed!
Our V.P. has been against getting into the 3-D world ever since I came to work. They had a bad experience with another manager several years back. As I understand the situation, it was just taking far too long to generate 3-D drawings. So he ordered that everything in the future would be just done in 2-D.
Now that he has seen SketchUp and how fast and easy it is to use, he is changing his attitude.
